Memorial Day Parade

Reagan had been looking forward to the Memorial Day Parade since last year - who would have known that a parade in South Holland would be so much fun!
The girls were lucky enough to spend the night at grandma & grandpa's the night before so they were ready for the excitement. We had to change them into their American Flag dresses (yes, Reagan is still obsessed with American flags!) but then it was time to enjoy the parade.
They had their chairs and their bags for candy and were ready to go. Nola didn't know what to think at first but once she saw the older kids getting a lot of candy - she was in!
Reagan was most excited about the candy and Nola loved the music on one of the VBS floats - she was literally dancing in the streets.
It was a much cooler year, which was nice but it did start to rain when the parade ended so we were in the house the rest of the day.
We are already on the countdown until next year...
